DESCRIPTION
Pedraforca, one of the most iconic mountains in Catalonia. Located in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, it stands out for its emblematic forked shape—a spectacular formation that surprises and impresses everyone who sees it, conveying the strength and beauty of the mountain.
Multi-pitch climbing at Pedraforca is a unique experience that combines technique, effort, and the satisfaction of climbing in a high mountain environment. The limestone rock offers excellent climbing with slabs, cracks, and chimneys, providing a varied climbing experience. Classic routes with an alpine atmosphere predominate.
Access to the routes is part of the adventure. From the Lluís Estasen refuge, one of the most emblematic in the area, a 30 to 60-minute approach leads to the base of the wall.
The best time to enjoy climbing at Pedraforca is from spring to autumn, when weather conditions are more favorable. However, summer can also be a good option on cool days or on shaded routes.
